Time and Tide, a fleeting installation of sea salt, was created early one morning on the beach in Montauk, New York during an artist residency at the Edward Albee Foundation. As dawn broke and the wind increased, the sculpture reacted to both the wind and the rising tide. The sea salt was eventually engulfed by the rising water and disappeared back into the sea.
