Broken Kilometer, based on the work of Walter De Maria, is an installation proposed for a military base in Harlösa Sweden in conjunction with Project Sand Life: The County Administrative Boards's Nature Management unit it Skåne. The proposed cuts in the soil act as a temporal art installation while simultaneously fostering the growth of rare plant species at the margins and facilitate the influx of rare insects and birds previously  achieved through defunct military tank maneuvers.Special thanks to Kerstin Jakobsson/ARNA for help in facilitating the project and for the construction photographs of the installation.
