This installation produced on the fire pond during a MacDowell Residency, was produced using an ice spud and Finnish Ice Saw. The piece references the work of Gordon Matta Clark and also serves as a datum for meterological conditions. As the ice freezes and thaws, the piece exhibits a range of appearances. Ultimately, the piece is completely erased as the Spring weather approaches.
